The Vision of FHL
Photo Caption: 20 students from FHL International, Inc. ESL Class lead by a 21 year-old volunteer

The vision of FHL International, Inc.(FHL) is to build communities filled with faith, hope and love by gathering volunteers to participate in service projects in their local communities. FHL encourages the involvement of churches, ministries, businesses, government and educational institutions to serve God & their neighbors in an effort to bridge the social, economic and spiritual gaps within our community. By expressing love through volunteerism, FHL is working with Indianapolis area residents to open hearts and doors to nurture hope that will inspire the next generation of Hoosiers to engage in and remain committed to community service.

FHL Inspiring Collaboration For Positive Change In Communities
FHL recognizes the evolving needs of Indianapolis area residents who are facing tremendous hardship under current economic circumstances. By building bridges within communities and engaging volunteers of all ages and backgrounds, FHL is inspiring Indianapolis area residents to set differences aside and to work together as active agents for positive change in their communities. In so doing, FHL is channeling resources and efforts that, divided, would not be as effective.

Kindness Weekends: October 18-19, 2008
Over 100 volunteers (divided into four shifts) from Northview Christian Life worked not only on the FHL office (located at 8383 Craig St. Ste 335 Indianapolis, IN 46250), but the entire Castleton office complex. They picked up trash, raked leaves, cleaned windows and worked on the inside of the new FHL corporate offices. The Northview Christian Life volunteers also completed several other projects throughout Indianapolis, with collaborative help from FHL International.

Over 80 volunteers from Northview cleaned up 6 blocks of the 25th and Dearborn neighborhood and several volunteers through BRAG cleaned up the Binford and 71st neighborhood.

FHL was also blessed by our Lord with the means to provide frozen food to Living Water Ministries. Edward Figueroa and his wife, Gena, have literally, over the past 5-6 years, provided shelter in their own home to over 500 homeless people!

Please contact info@fhlinternational.org if you are interested in holding a Kindness Weekend in your neighborhood.
