Here are some testimonies of those who have volunteered:
Former FHL ESL Director, Miranda Erk had this to say about the FHL Food Pantry…..
“…Also, the food pantry is not only a ministry to those that we serve but [to] who we are serving with. I have seen a lot of people become Christians through serving with FHL and seeing what God does. The interns are very open and I think that God is planting seeds in their life.”
FHL Street Evangelism Director, Bill Lamb had this to say about the FHL Food Pantry…
“The FHL food pantry was held at the intersection of 30th and Central Saturday, September, 26, 2009. Perhaps 500 people will receive food from this food pantry. Two people received Christ during the food pantry. Intercessors prayed for people at the food pantry as well. Believers gathered at UB Cafe on the two Friday evenings before the food pantry. Flyers were passed out in the neighborhood. There was worship, spiritual warfare, unity and love. Five people were saved on the first Friday night!”
A Pastor with the Cloverleaf Baptist Church had this to say about his experience with with FHL’s Food Pantry…
I was blown away just being apart of what God was doing! I saw a spirit of Love that only comes from the Holy Spirit. I Praise Jesus for the privilege of being with you and the whole family of FHL. I thank God for you. The man that accompanied me Saturday (Feb. 20, 2010) that was an usher gave his life to Christ and will be baptized 3/7/10 I knew you would want to know. -Larry Evans, pastor of Cloverleaf Baptist Church
